Vintage A La Maison part 2

Last week I did a post about how I love to use Vintage in my home.

Here is another great way to use something, I love my vintage Pyrex Coffee maker, but deep down, I know I won't be using it. I thought it was horrible to leave such a beauty just collection dust empty.

I thought!!! I know, I will put my fresh coffee beans in it. We go threw coffee so much that I don't really need to worry about freshness, although it is sealed pretty tight.

Hope you enjoy, and maybe give you an idea what to do with yours, if you have one lying around.

I love this one..
Shows her playful side, wich she has loads of. Also a favorite because she is all in my creations!!!! Makes me feel great that she doesn't need expensive high priced items to look superubber cute! Plus she Loves it and says... "awww you make this for me?"
Under the wrap top she actually has a tankini top, she hearts it alot. Comes with matching bikini bottom! I'm thinkin of doing a DIY all you lovelies!!! So fun so simple.

Vintage A la Maison...

I adore Vintage, I Love it all. If my eye sees it and loves it, I get it. Therefor its all kinda of colours in my home. :) Wich I LOVE IT!

I thought I would start Sharing how I use my Favorite Vintage piece in my home as a working piece, not just pretty on shelf. ( by no means do I not have any...)

The first one is My kitchen soap and Stoppers. I Really DISLIKE having the Nice old dishsoap bottle always on my kitchen counter. Therefor I decided to use this beautiful old jar. Now I'm on a hunt for a beautiful spoon to go in it. :) I think it so much more refreshing...

Then I use an old cup "soccer?" Gee Aren't I horrible then french yah now!! ( really not an excuse!) This way they have a nice little home to be place on.

I have a lot more, I cannot wait to share. I thought I would only do it once a week. This way I don't show all at once!

I wanna wear this

Too keep up atleast one thing!!! :)
Here is Melodie wear for the week, this is actually a funny one. We went for a walk on Saturday and stumbled on Garage sale....."ohhh shucks!!!" ;)
Well we found a Woody costume! "ohh maman!!! I love it!"
Then I thought do I even have money??? And how much??"
" its only 2$!" and I had exaclty that!
Soo fair to say she got the Woody ensembel!!!
To make it short, she feel asleep wearing it TO bed last night! And the only way I may take it off of her is to put it inside her Hello Kitty backpack! Then tells everyone " I have a Woody!!!" that brings on strange looks!
Love her she is priceless!

My ROCK my Everything..

Tomorrow is a bitter Sweet Day for me, It marks a beautiful day, my favourite day of the year,

its the day I gave birth to my Beauitful Sasha!

When I say bitter sweet, I say in the context, that He is growing up so so fast!

He is going to be 6 years old tomorrow! 6yrs ago, This most amazing gift was given to me.

He was from birth my rock. He has always been so Strong, so Sensitive and the most caring little man. I wouldn't change him for anything. He has these amazing deep brown eyes, when you look into them, its like seeing the most purest thing there is. I know he is an old soul and has so much to offer this world. My husband and I always tell each other we can learn so much from this little man.

My hopes and dreams for him is that he never changes, always stays this pure strong, little man.

That yes he LOVES Fashion!! ( he is amazing at it too! ) He asked for sewing machine!! He is GREAT also. But I hope the world never changes him! As we all know the world can be a cruel place for children. Specially if they aren't as for say the "Norm". Makes me so so mad!!

Here is this amazing child, and because he has taken in life to love the beauty of it and surround himself with beautiful things, chooses not to be violent and play rough, Some would say? why do you let him? Why not???? This is OUR Sasha and this is him being ALIVE and happy and doing what HE Loves! not what he SHOULD Love. We want him grow strong and secure in who he is, which is Trully an amazing little human and I can't forget to Mention, BEST Big Brother!

I could probably write a novel of 100o pages about him and all he has lived is 6 years, but I think we can call learn from him and that is to LOVE one other for who YOU are! Because He teaches me that EVERYDAY!

I Love Myself because....

Everyday I have my favourite Blogs I like to sneak at and read, some are for Fashion, some for ideas some because I think the person behind it is just interesting. As probably most of us do..

Well yesterday, upon my usual read I Read Jill's Post and I thought I was Wonderful and maybe good thing for me right now. Because I have been really hard of myself lately to loose this weight that DIDN'T come off after my second! I embrace my new size, but deep down I wish I was still my norm weight!!

So today I say I LOVE MYSELF, because I have beautiful curves! Yes my bum is a nice full one and Yes I might have bigger arms and well little extra everywhere, but I LOVE myself! I've always been very positive about my appearance, even if I want never a small girl. I always had a big "Butt" that I was teased so much about by my brothers!! Deep down, I was always self conscious. After Reading this blog I had the The light bulb thingy! I always say I'm okay! but really I wasn't, but as of TODAY, its a new page and I LOVE MYSELF

A new Dress!

Yesterday I had both my little ones at home. Been fighting colds this year Like CRAZY!

That being said, I was rocking my Melodie so she would have a nap. Brainstorming comes best at that time, because I get mad that I'm not in my room creating, therefor I think of new ideas.

It's an adaptation of my Sister dress with some flare. I had fun making it, and well I always know its a hit if she Wants to wear it....Wich as you can see she LOVED IT!

Might be the fact that I made from a super soft Bamboo French Terry, or that it twirls with her.

I wanted to share, this is a RUFF rough one, just playing with my patterns. Going to line my next hood and make it a lot more clean. I think I will try and have some available soon. :)

First I do need to concentrate of ORDERS! But when I'm stressed or tired, I need to create something new to feel productive.

No sadness here because I hadnt been to the waterfront at Dusk in Ages! Its magical!!

I wanna WEAR this Today!!!

This is my second I wanna wear this today...
My Melodie is the best! Having me making her clothes since she is just a little baby she has grow to LOVE clothes!
So for today I thought I would should you a collection of her favourite items she like to wear. Fun for me also to go back and see how much she has grown!
This one is her FAVORITE she calls it her DORA dress? I have no clue why?

She only likes the Jacket!! Wich is my creations...She says its my "ROHO" (red) jacket....She only says her colours in Spanish....Thanks DORA!!! Isn't her Brother a HAM!

This one I can wake up most mornings to QUEEN Melodie...Wish you could see the shoes!!

Or you have days where every single hair accessories are in at once..( this two are BEST FRIENDS!!)

Last but not least, because we have ALOT of favourite..I cannot forget Her "Alice Dress!" Wich she then changes her accents an say hello I Alice!!!

I wanna wear THIS today!

Today is Easter Monday, and u had mentioned that I want to star doing daily outfits, but of Melodie, sometimes moi or even Sasha. Today I decided my Melodie looked adorable!
I'm always sewing, have made so so many peices and sometimes I forget about them, they haven't sold or I made it then put it away! Well today I took this one out for her, and she liked it, Bonus!

Its a simple ballon style tank top, that's a dress too! Made with this sweet vitange Sherman fabric! I don't know why I didn't keep this for her before!!

Then I paired it with some leggings, that have some sparkles...another huge bonus of my have! Other great thing....all Maman

Bidule!
I feel great when I gr her dressed and Shea wearing all of y creations. I want to teach her that making your own clothing and using and creating from all kinds of things is great and fun!!
I still have another dress made in this print!!! I will try and post it to etsy soon.

May today be a glorious day, may you remember that it's nit just all about choco but also that we are blessed and have a truly amazing gift.... Life. Appreciate it, and love the ones around you!
I did this weekend! The sun was amazing we had a beautiful time, and Easter has just begun!

My day..

Well I want to started Doing more daily things like "my day"
"melodies outfits" maybe even sneak mine once in a while and o course..... New peices to my collections!!!!
So my day today started like this.....
I was sad, I knew today was going To be the last for a while of having my mom close, so yes i know I'm a grown woman right? But I have always been very close to her. Anywho, we had a great day! We picked up Sasha early from school, went for lunch! Then did some shopping! Well some surprise shopping! She brought me to a beautiful store, so lovely, quintessential. Then said here pick a wallet you want anyone!! Really? Omg wow! I'm cheap and here i am getting this beautiful wallet!

Isn't lovely! Plus side reason why i got it made from 100% recycled bottles!

Bonus right?
Then we went to the park with the kids, we couldn't make them not go!

It was a glorious day! I think I even go a little sun burnt.

After did a little more shopping! Wow I was on a roll today! I think it's grieving Haha she not dying! Just going to be half way around the other side of the world!!!!!!!
I found a place to buy jeans!!!! I have a big booty! Well when u find jeans I'm happy! Happy dance! Then got husband some also! Oh and a peach hoodie! I love colors!
Then came home, monkey"melodie" feel asleep!! Know what that means! Up all night! Its okay I think I'll need extra cuddles! Then finally drew a custom orders designs, wich is such fun! Then replied to all my emails! So that's in part my day?!?! In a way!
Oh yah, saying bye was the hardest thing, i think I cried, crying threw this whole blog entry! :( feels better to talk about it, cause I tend to keep things to myself.

Dream Catcher DIY

I have few blogs I fallow of other mamas that have amazing business and sometimes I Do have to admit that i spend so much time just completely immerse in this or that . I always love falling on a new one that just captivate me. In case you haven't heard of lunevintage, she Amazing. Jill just create this DIY for a dream catcher wich was amazingly perfect timing.
My mom is leaving, wich I know has been all over everywhere, but shes my best friend and my oldest boy Sasha is extremely close to her, since knowing she is leaving he has been acting out in crying more or having night mares, my heart is broken thinking about how much he is going to miss her....

But going back to the source, he has been asking asking for a dream catcher, says mommy it's going to make me feel better. How perfect did this DIY? Especially she's leaving in a day, so I thought we will make one this weeken and he can maybe release some of his sadness in it....and well some on mine also. can't wait to make it and add little treasures in it.

My little Melodie!

So, I finally yes finally got my silkscreening going, oh but

I still have a lot of learning to experience to learn, but it sure is fun!
Last month I drew this little girl"melodie" she and adaptations from my favorite little golden children book. I can fly!
But her name is Melodie and she flies with her cat and little bird!! I'm even thinking of writing known adaptation to this image and make it very special and corky just like my Melodie. ( I will have to think of one for my little man also!!) along the lines of Astro Boy.

My princess turned 3!!!

I didn't blog of mention my little monkey on her special day! I feel horrible, just because I usually mention my treasures on their birthday!
I will make it quick, but she deserves the world!
We ended up having to cancel her big party an just having a small family one, but she was in heaven! Hello kitty cake, and pretty dresses and new shoes!! She's such a Girl and I love it!!!! Might have something to do with the shoe obsession but hey I am a girl too!!! Here are few pictures, we have more on the camera but no computer right now. :(

Je t'aime Melodie....just the way you are! " I have a live for the song just the way you are by lady Gaga...makes me think of when I put her hair up and put on her lipstick ( she loves it!) and I tell her she's perfect just the way she is!!! Sweetheart Top...

Here is the second peices to my collection, sweet little tank tops. Size 2/3 and 4/5, as of now? Hoping to sew more sizes.
I like them, they look very nice with the bubble shorts.
I was glad to have something turn out good! because after purchasing a pattern( wich i rarelly do) I was So extremely dissapointed!!!! lost 2 mtrs of amazing fabric. But most not focus on the bad, might of been all my fault.
Next peice im trying is a dress, bubble and same flowy sleeves..... sneak peek soon. Just debating on texture.... thinking moss green, :) really its nice.

A Hopeful "Look Book"

Lately, I have been really wanting to CREATE a Look Book. Create Seasonal looks and make a collection. I have always wanted always draw them out, but my mind always is all over and I end up making a lot of different pieces.
Now I want it BAD! so I have told myself you are to create a few looks and MAKE THEM! and not just one!!! but a run size of 2yrs to about 5yrs. Not set in stone, but in that range. Also smaller little sizes.
I want a Webpage, I want to do a photo shoot!!! I want it so badly I can taste it!!
Here is the first 4 pieces to the collection and the drawings that got it started!! Also more boys!!
I love Feed BACK!!! :) hint hint!!

Baby Doll....

If you haven't noticed yet. I always doing new things and making new things..I get excited way too fast and can't just always make the same thing over and over. But don't get me wrong, I do love to remake things. Actually working on staying more focus...HARD!

Anywho, I found this amazing vintage pattern and lithesome modifications, I got this!!! Its for a sweet little girl, but I like them so much Im going to make more!!!
Working on an Army print one right, I know Army print but its so light and well I thought it could be fun. And Make it girly at the same time.

Also Cut two more of the balloon shorts. I have to get ready for the summer season and sending things to few places.
I aslo want to hit a few markets this summer!!!

Dress up is Always fun...

After reading I feel in Love with the gifts she made for her daughter.
since I had a little bday party for a special girl I wanted to make her some too, also for my princess also.
Actually mine is in LOVE with The fox ears!!! She's such fun!
I still have to make Tails for her too and a nice little suitcase...( hmmm better work fast here!)

Here is just a little previous of well madness house of mine!! I love it!
We all been SICK so its been crazy, but we always have time to CREATE! and my mama has been coming over and spending afternoons making with us! so much FUN!!!
we made from old pillow cases into new Scarfs....

Sparles Everywhere, happy StValentines!! DYI Sparkle Shoes

We are having a relaxing day, both babies have a cold. Sasha even missed out on a fun fun day at school. Not even bummed about it, thats how not well he is. Poor little man.

So we just made some strawberry cupcakes and watching movies..:)

After reading this Blog..
I feel in love with the PINK sparkles, since my Melodie LOVES sparkles I decided to make her some for Valentins day! it was a success she was in LOVE!!
Here is how I did..
I used old White Canvas shoes..

then I added GLUE all over..USe this old tray to make sure I didn't get glitter all over...Didn't work been 4days of cleaning up glitter floors!!

Looked like this!
Did a few layers of sparkles........
Then I put this on top..

Hopefully it works, did 4 applications..
Then She had her SHOES!!! Mama I love em!!

This is a new little peice going into my spring collections.
I had alot of fun making it, and my daughter adores it, wich sometimes makes its harder to loose. But then I think really? She has sooo much things from me, alot of the time things dont even make it out because she says " Oh maman I love it! You made it fo Me??" So how can I say no??? But trully she forget about it, well most of the time!
I just wanted to share it with you, Hopefully put it up for listing on Etsy tonight.

A Birthday..A Review...Life's good!

As you might now know, my lovely mama ( which is my bests of friend..LOVE HER)

we go thrift shopping...We love it! Very strange since my mother never would step into a second hand store before. Now its has become our lives!! (sorta kind)

Anywho for my birthday we went thrift shopping...and I got myself....THIS~~~~

Hello everyone~!!

its a new Year, I still cannot believe it! 2011??? Seriously! WOW

I watch sooo much back to the future during the holidays.( the had a special! it played all the time!) and I kept thinking! See Cars should be flying and and and...but when you look at it, we aren't far from it! Crazy stuff!

Anyways....I haven't been the best lately! I need to get better! Holidays are now done!

Im going to be finishing up orders and working on what will be coming next!

Im excited! First though my sewing room is getting a complete overall make over!!! I just feel crowed and not good!

Snow Bunny and Ow...

I'm just LOVing making this rompers!

I know these are over the top, but OMG, its for babies wouldn't it just be so so adorable?

Think so!!! My favourite so far is my Bunny, Looks like a vintage bunny, so cuddly and so soft.

Then since there's owls everywhere, I couldn't but help falling in love with them. I really like finding vintage ones...I got a few lately and they look very handsome in my Kitchen, they help me stay happy during LONG rainin days!

I have been well should be sewing like a mad women, but its difficult with two children a house and cooking and cleaning and wow! And well I'm not the most organized woman. I wish I was I do my darn best but its my nature, I'm all over the place and my mind is here and there. :)

Halloween is coming! Guess what? NO COSTUMEs Yet? But most say we have been this way for the last 3yrs and we have had SO much fun! We usually all match in a theme. :) Either ALice in Wonderland this year or Magician...My hubby is going to be Chris Angle!! HAHA

Sweet Little Bundles..

I'm having so much fun making these little romper, onesies. They are made from upcycled sweathers, wich I LOVE to work with. So glad it winter..I know I mentioned it before. :)

I have 3 made up right now, I had the chance to try it on a baby, OMG so so adorable.

They are little sweet bundle that you can just cuddle and snuggle. Mohair is so nice for that. Same with Cashmere!!!

Well I mentioned them so here is a few pictures...

Hope you all enjoy them. Going on the hunt for more colours today. I still have this vibrant red orange that is so amazingly nice. really nice for a christmas outfit too, for babies.

Beautiful Readers...don't you just love fall?? My favorite time, is the begining of a new season, or in sorts the end of a season. I love Sweathers, and this is sweather season. I don't just love them for myself but for felting and well everything.

My new Love is now Elsie Cake!!! I cannot say enough about how much I think she is trully amazing, just everything is so smart. I have to thank her, trully for showing me and making me remember who I am. I got lost for a little bit, too much pressure of what people wanted me to be instead of being moi! Dear old Bidule. I am equlatic and I change everyday, I like all kinds of beauty and all sorts of styles. My works will one day be simple the next complex. I think that who I am....well it is. :)

I have been slowly FINALLY getting alor of new peices done. Surprisingly, smaller little peices, wich are making itching me to find a little ones to try them on. As my Melodie is now growin up so so fast.

My new goal is to Stay my heads in the Clouds keep dreaming and letting the univer give me all its goodness.

So its finally HOT!

We have summer here, wich is so fantastic.

Althought, with two shows in one month, means more sewing for moi.

Today though we went to the ocean and was it ever lovely. Sasha was right at home, that boy loves it.

We also have a new Puppy!!! His name is Chance...Because its pure chance we have him.

I love him..but I think this might be Melodie's little puppy, she won't let him go. So sweet.

Sasha poor babe, it breaks his heart that the puppy cries so his cries to bring it back to his mommy...or like he says lets buy the mommy too...

Today I think we are just taking slow...Although we have been out most morning? Thats us.

Sasha Birthday Party Yesterday we had a great time....he did.

Today I'm doing my best to get Etsy finally loaded up with all my peices...but really thats going to take me a long time. Specially trying to use Melodie for most pictures. NOT possible, therefor I had to resort to using my UGLY dolls. But they work right?

Then it's father's day...aren't I lovely, I sent him to superstore! I cannot stand going there on weekends...way way too bussy for meself!

I had to take pictures of my dresses I made for a custome order, which I'm so disapointed she never bought them...I'm a little upset, but its okay because it's going to find another lovely home.

Well I should be going, I do need to get some more pictures uploaded.

How I love to distress Denim and just jazz Em up...Well here are some pictures.

I wish I could of had put Melodie is all of them, but the coop wasn't been great lately for pictures.

Plus the pool being outside...the dirt, equals messy clothes.

I just started the Ones with the the ankor on the bum. Not completly done.

they also have a removable leggers at the bottom. Wich kind of give them a unique look and you can roll the jeans, or not and wear them a whole bunch of ways. Im liking it, I might make more like this, I have a few really nice sweather I will use.

I have a few pairs of jeans also, and they are boys jeans, but will be turning them into Boyfriend jeans for little girls, but with a girly twist.

Monday's at our house are usually hectic...Although I don't go to work every morning, being a stay at home mom and starting your own little business is alot of work. Usually after the weekend, the mountain of laundry, ( don't know how that can happen in two days!)

The getting back into our routine of the week, the cleaning. Plus this weekend I was at the Baby Fair, so I tired and all this to do....But wouldn't change it for the world.

I got this legs from Tokyo Baby!! lovely lady....and Im so in love with them. Plus they are in french...how great!! This is Melodie with her legs and her bloomer and her sweather...very equletic but so sweet.

My Boy is 5!!! sniffs

I cannot believe it.
I will always remember the day when Sasha was just a few days old and my mother told me...
enjoy this time because next thing you will know he will be starting school....My answer was, mom, seriously thats five years from now...lots of time. I was sooo wrong! Those 5years has just zoomed passed my eyes. I trully cried, and had a few moments. My boy, my pumkin is 5!!!!
Not too sure why its such a big deal 5, but its like a new chapter, he is going into the world in september and Im not going to be his main teacher, he will have his pears, a teacher and a world where he will fend for himself. A whole new ground for him. Im so very blessed and proud because I know he is such a kind hearted strong little man. See, tears right now. Wow!
He woke up this morning and said...Mom theres not more sleeps till my birthday and Im not four anymore, Im five!!! I just huged him told him I loved him and yes yes you are 5 now.

So his is five and so proud of him....I just hope I can pause the next five to not go as fast.

I love you My Angel, you were the best gift god ever gave me. I was blessed the day you came to me and forever made me so grateful and never felt love until you came around.

So much as been going on, then nothing?

Life with Two little monkeys is so bussy and amazing.....but these days with having the baby fair coming up, let me tell you, some days I want to scream AHHHHH>>>> How can I get this all done? Well with nice deep breaths and you know you do the best you can, with all your heart and it will be perfect?? right? its what I tell myself.

I was doing my bags made out of reclamed bed sheets, wich they still will be. Though now I also have Brown paper bags! YEAH!

My new delima, is that I want my logo on them. Hmmmmm think think think.

Got it, Well I think I do. I remembered an old arts project from grade 7, I digged I tell you!

I did One tester and if I can master it, I think it will work. We had fun me and my little man doing it. He was bussy making his own for his business, he is going to be such a little entrepreneur him.. LOVE IT!

Other then that, I have gotten 85% of my collection Tagged Washed and labeled. Pheww.

Now I might sneak in a few more peices before the show.

Took some pictures of Miss Daisy....Let me tell you those two have worms! They have been so hipper. Ever since they play together, they fuel eachother. Alot of fun to see, really is.

So I decided to do some Distress Denim.....I'm loving it. Its so much fun. Time comsuming now, I understand why people sells hand Distress Denim for huge bucks!!!! Takes me almost 2hours if not more to do one. But I have a grand time. I'm thinking of doing a little video showing how to achieve your look. But till then, I will be show casin...at the BABY FAIR!!! Hope to have a great turn out. So much work is going into. Anywho..

I found these cute little jeans today, and I couldn't believe they where skinny legs.

I love them!! Melodie needs them....Oh wait, she's can have everything!!!!!

I friend of mine Gave two beautiful Dress she had gotten last summer, but unfortunatly didn't work for her...

Well I LOVED the fabric.

This today is the third little outfit I have made from those dresses, and since they were quiet long and big I have to make alot more..YEAH!

ITs alittle too big for her, but thats why I made the strap adjustable...

I'm also working on another Cloak jacket in the Dandellion collection. Excited to see how it turnes out.

My Husband The MAGICIAN!

I'm not sure if I have ever mentioned, but hubby is a magician..

He is pretty good too at it. Im not braggin there. :)

But this weekend he worked on a little promo video for his clients. I just thought it was great and wanted to share it with everyone.

Good thing we have a mac I tell you because, well should I say that we don't but they

inlaws do and they are soo soo kind to let us use it...:)

Well it was such a beautiful evening tonight that after dinner we went outside for our routine, Bubble blowing....We most go threw like a big thing a week.

Then I thought!!! hmmmm perfect time to take a few next pictures of my new little peices I have been working on.

I have lots more, but I always love the change to use my inlaws camera ( MANY THANKS!) and take some pictures.

But Im soo allergic to dandillions! But it was worth it, got some cute pictures.

I do it in my sleep! Its all I do. SERIOUSLY! But I love it.
I got to bed and dream of something then wake up in the morning and cut it out.
Some Fantastic results, and well we all need some failures, and well I have em. But I still us them, my daughter gets them. She don't mind..:)
I made this cloak jacket, my son had his little friend over and well he loves sewing barbie clothes and she said..Im sewing a cloak for mine. Hmmmm I thought I can do that!
I'm very proud..:)

Looking forward to more new things.
Thai Fisherman pants, Harem pants..All kinds. Like I said My mind can't stop thinking.
Mostly OOAK designs. I just love making one of a kind. One day I will branch into maybe making more of one thing, but right now having too much fun trying out everything and all creating.

Well since finding out I was going to be at the Baby Fair, its like the switch has been turned on again for creating my things. I was sleeping the other night, well might I say trying to get my 2yrs to go back to bed...wich is where I do alot of my creating., or brain stroming my ideas. I bought this rasberry fleece a few months ago in hopes to making a little jacket. Well I got this vision of this one. Melodie was being quiet a good model that day, I was very proud of her. My husband does take pretty neat pictures also.

This is one thats going to be hard to let go, but I most. Its okay, Im so happy when it goes to a new home that will be loved just as much..or as I would hope. :)

Im very excited~! I got a spot in the Baby Fair!!!!
This will be my first all baby child related show....Im so excited. But I have little over 4wks, can you say OMG! I have a little collection already, but when I get ready to have shows, I always want to show all my ideas in my head and have them all done, but it never happens because I can never stop thinking. This time I'm not going to go over board, promote and just show what I can do.
Im very excited..have I mentioned it already??? ;)
Other then that life has been overly just too much...two ambulances ride for the same little monkey!!! My daughter. She is doing much better, but lets just say my stress level where very high hence I got very tired..what happens. I have somewhat fibromyliga...and stress and being tired really just doesnt do good. But I control it with some good natural stuff and sleep and good food. Coffee? helps.

Tea Time Anyone? New Jacket

For Easter my babes got tea set from my parents. So CUTE!

I love tea time we play it all the time, it just keeps them bussy for the longest time.

We have this beautiful porcelaine one, ( wich with my youngest, not so good.)

Well for Easter my mother got her this Sock monkey set made out of metal!! Not sure if she loves it or its me...not but its great.

Then Sasha who LOVES Alice in wonderland got the most precious collection peice...Im horrible but I so scared to bring it out, its just too gorgeous It would break my heart if it got broken.

Other than that, we have been bussy, trying to get my collection back up to date, specially if I do get into the baby fair...The markets and just everyday sales. It's alot of work, but I love it. Wish I had more time though. I want to start to make little girls, vintage onepeice swimsuits. Looking for patterns on my outtings to thrift shops. Cross my fingers.

Well this has been a hard entry to write my daughter is on me wiggling and trying to snuggles...what happens when she don't nap....too many kids in the house today.

Also her is one of my new peices, I really like it. A late night again, turned out pretty neat.

It's already Easter time?? Really? yes really?

Lots of questions and yes I am not ready one bit! thankfully we are going to my parents house wich they make the most delicious food EVER!

Hubby and I are going to sneak out tonight and buy some goodies. Thinking a really nice set of coloring crayons for Sasha..also a chocolat and For my Melodie I believe a pretty little necklace??

Oh here is my bat scarf!! VOILA all done...kinda corky but its not too bad.

This is my newest Dress.....With a matching cardigan. I found the fabric at a vintage thrift store.

I LOVE IT! Very flowy...Wishes Melodie could keep it, But I can't keep it all.

Lost of new Adventures!

Its the weekend...Im bussy.

I love it though, hubby is home, lots of going out and just doing something nothing!

Not really because I have alot of orders to get done, Ideas that need to come out. Love it!

I have to talk about my day in Ladysmith with my mother. I got the best best best deals EVER! so much fun. Fab jacketS, shoeS, FabricS, Skirt,all I mean all 9items under 15$!!!! Can you say nice! So much fun.

Here are Melodie's new kicks, wich she loves...Girl loves her shoes.

Sasha got a very nice jeans jacket. Finally found one....oh can't forget her ken(barbie's man) Hat.

He got a new Ken doll and well he wants to look just like him SoooFrigen cute!

Working on hats right now, I got 2more to do. Then a dress. But I'm going to make another one

of those scarfs. I want to make a Bat. I did the sketch here, lets see how it turns out.
Other news, I might be doing the babyFair here in town. Exciting! Lots of work though. But I can do it!!!! Loves my challenges.

I keep seeing these cute little scarfs with animals on them...usually they are knittted or crochet. Well Last night after finishin another little outfit, I decided to make one...at like 10:30 at night, I seem to do that. Then I wonder why Im tired. Anywho..I think its pretty cute, For Easter with a cute little dress and nice jacket. :) I had fun making it.

I might do some different looks to them, its fun sometimes to try something different.

We woke up this morning and made french toast!! yumm..Sasha and I thought so. Melodie was more interested in the strawberries.

Today we are going to go Ladysmith and get hair cuts...not me but Sasha and my mom. I want my little man to get a little justin bieder haircut. He just got this Ken doll and he is so into dressing up and he even bought himself a hat that looks just like him. I need to post that one up..soooo soo firgen cut. Can you imagine his is only 41/2...I will be something else. ILOVE IT!

Its the small things that make me the happiest!

Sometimes and most of the time, its the small things that just get to me..

Doesn't have to be the biggest more expensive or extravagent..or even the most sales.

I love it and think its the best, when I have someone just tell me I just think this is soo beautiful and they took time out of their day to tell me.

My sewing, I do it trully because I just love doing it. To have people like it...completly a total bonus. I mean I do what I love. To see it grow too, is so unbelievably exciting! Trully you should see how excited I get about comments and feed back..even if theres no sales at all!!! I get all excited like I won the millions of dollar lottery. :)

Things here have been picking back up...The babes are seeming to be wanting to climb the mountain but again. YEAH! But I think the antibiotics are doing a number on my babe girl's tummy.

We went out yesterday for a beautiful walk, and she got to sleep the whole time outside, so wonderful the great fresh air. I took these pictures when she woke up...Lol thought she looks so funny. She's all in Maman Bidule Collection, I love it. Makes me so proud. She's my best advocate too.

Sasha and I are making Maple oatmeal cookies from the"Right Diet" book. Can't wait to taste them out!! yumm yummm.

What to write about?

I feel like I don't know where to start?

Been a LONG week...my blog has become my little place, my two minutes of no.."mom..or hey this or hey can you do this for me...or Im hungry or laundry or ANYTHING! I write and get to talk about whats just for me...my sewing or little quirks and things. Sometimes as a mom, I know we all feel that way, but I want a time just for moi! moi moi moi...

Like today, I would of loved to just went got a coffee, strolled the mall and just looked. Or even went for lunch by myself....I used to love doing that, and I cannot remember the last time, I got a minute for me. Don't get me wrong, I love being with my babes and my man, but I need some me time, to just do nothing that needs to be done..like groceries!!! Well there Bladded!! Feels better! thank you

I been a workins alot on my collection....Loving summer time. Having fun with it.

Now I need to look into getting into a few markets this summer. I might venture to Victoria...if anyone knows a name or where to go for a good one. Just atleast once. Do a few here in town too...:)

I just made a mei Tai for an order...I really like it, its all done and packages up. Even made it a nice little bag..ahhhhh soo sweet right?
Stayed up late alot lately, sewing away. Gotten about 4new looks down.

Cabine FEVER!!

Still sick...when is it going to go away? trully really? I know this happens and kids can have up to 10colds in the season, but really? can my babes have a break? All these questions marks but its how I feel.Being stuck inside the house is not my things...at all. I feel trapped.

I got the sewing room finally done the way I have been wanting too, still needs works, but much better. Loving it.
Got Melodie and Our Bedroom done, Sasha got a good cleaning. Made my monkey laundry, diaper bag. For my few orders I got right now. I unfortunatly didn't get much sewing done. Did start my Mei Tai today...been a while since I have made one of those..trying something new...did a huge cut out on freezer paper of my logo. Thinks it might look good. :)

Well nothing else much, I mean days are long and Im tired!! hard to have sick babes.

Hop Little Bunny Hop!!

Well yesterday, since we have all been under the weather, I just had no energy to do anything..Well I mean house work!

So We were just hanging around, reading The I love Devon Rose Blog, wich I think is just great, I saw this little bunny she bought for Devon. So cute! My mom makes dolls, so I called her and said mom make something like that for Melodie and Sasha for Easter!! Of course she jumped right on it, cause she's just so fantastic!! I really need to showcase her dolls somewhere trully unreal.

Anywho.....Im just blahhh don't feel like doing my usual day, so I asked Sasha " hey wanna make a doll when Melodie goes for a nap??" SURE!!!!! was his response.

So We went to work....well I did...he got side tracked.

Anyways...Im proud, ain't she so cute?? I mean she far from perfect....Sasha did pick her outfit, wich looks really corcky.

Here she is...He calls her Fifi ( wich I know there's already a Rabbit call Fifi and I love her.) You can't make him change his mind.

Now here is it..made it last, been huming and wondering what to do, and I just stopped thinking and took my siccors and cut!!! I think the out come came out pretty cute!! So excited to show her. I wished I would of tooken a better picture of it before and after to show what it looked like. I really do need to start doing that, then show the transformation happen!

Then I finally got around and made some lace leggers....Cute! I got a whole bunch of other colors, going to make a few and put them up on my etsy.

Then I worked on making a pattern for bubble shorts, love bubble dresses...I found again one of my treasures this old pattern book from the 80's and it has the most fantastic things..they just need some twicking..then voila!! Its fun.

Oh can't forget to show Sasha digging to make a pond! haha such a funny boy! Or find China..."What? you mean China is done there...." What did I get myself into now I had to explain, and if you know Sasha he full full of questions..Love it.

Well Im soo berry tired today.....Sick babes just is draining. Wish her to be all better soon..oxox baby girl.

So I love to upcycled!

I did this little vest for the sugar festival and they were a hit so I'm doing some more.

I just love making them they are such fun.

Lates one is a caramel color...Added big pockets. They arent all vest, some of pull over sweathers. I love it, trying to see if I can let it go, or keep it for Melodie...hm hmmm

Here is my turkoise...I usually like more earth tones but this is great for spring!!

Going to cut out a black one tonight...see what can come out of it.

I can't wait, I want to take pictures, I miss it. But we have to wait...everything comes in time.

My beautiful husband has a magic show tonight for 300 peeps...Poor boy. I hope it goes well for him.

Well I got got a beautiful friend of mine give me all these beautiful clothing of hers to upcycle.
Its her daughters first bday soon, so Im going to make her some fancy new outfits. Got the jacket cut, not needs to be put together. ( its put together now...see...)

Hmm, this blog will be cut short, my baby girl is up...and CRANKY!! Helpp mommy hellp..

Spring Summer Dress

Okay, so spring is almost here...wich means summer is even closer. Dresses!! and pretty things and sleeveless and fun times.

I wanted to bring something new and well here it is! Hope you all like it. I think its swell. Im also just starting to go bigger, meaning not just size 2!! My daughter is growing up, so I need to make bigger. This one my first one, is a size 7t!! I think its just fabulous! lurves the big pocket, the gathering...the flowers. Looks pretty snazzy too. Thanks to my gorgeous boy ( he likes to dress up...) he tried it on. Looks great, wich means it going to be gorgeous on once, its on a special little girl. I will bring different variations of it, but will go somewhere like this with it.

size 2t to 12yrs too. How exciting is that.

Well hope you all enjoy it! I do, I have such fun.

Sugar Festival...

Another maple sugar festival...and I just love love love it!!! I don't know what it is about that atmosphere but its always great....probably being french canadian and seeig all this culture around you and this great music and food. Everyone too!
Thanks to them its a sucess for me...The feed back is just wow. I always doudt myself the day before, like oh no, am I doing this for no reason, should I just stay a closet sewer and keep it all...But after seeing the feed back and seeing peoples reaction...that they actually like it too!! soooo amazing, because they are all my babies and I just love em all. To me they all have a storie, I see them all put together, I want to talk about all of them. Because in a sence they do all have a storie. See I do babble..:)
Make me want to have my dream come to life even more...I see it, its right there. I threw out to the universe..I said here you go this is what I want!!! Worth a try, so far it works.
My goal...wich is going to be a hard one for me, is to get a blog going where I post all my peices all the time and have somesort of way to be able to purchase. Computers and I are friends, but friends on good occasions. We don't always see eye to eye.
Well If anyone reads this and maybe you were at the sugar festival...I want to send you out a very big MERCI!!!

I saw Mary today..

I saw such a beautiful thing today, little Mary with her mother.
I was just overwhelmed, to see her. I know I don't know her much but she trully trully touched us very deeply and we were so happy to see her. Words can't even say what I was feeling. I know I might sound like this big baby, but this beautiful little girl over came such a huge obstical and to see her, was the best thing ever. To Tanya and her family, we are soo soo happy for you!
I'm also sorry didnt even introduce my husband to you, I was just so happy that I just lost track.
But also a huge thank you to everyone who helped in purchasing a hat 4 Mary!!
We are still going to have them, and hopefully give the procceed go to other little ones that need a little extra help fighting. Huge Thank you!!!

I have a flow that is coming threw me things I want to make and create.
I love lace, and linen, wohl. I mean I just love a mixture of all kinds of textures together.
I love creating, little girl clothing that is just simple, but then yet complex. Soft colors, with some pops of vibrant. I have been inspired alot lately to work with upcycling old peice of clothing. I have always loved doing it, just latly been something I love even more .

Little mukluk fur boots, to a mohair aviator hat. To a nice 3/4 upcycled wohl blanket into a beautiful jacket. Leather boots. something I just wish my visions would come out how I want them too. But in the same time its the trille and error thats fun. I want to make a lace beanie hat with pink ribbon. Leg warmers and little spats. Spats are beautiful, I just love them. I know my little girl is in alot of dresses and with the winter coming, I will be loving them. I wanted to put picutres up today, but darn batteries. grrrrrrr.

Once upon a Winter Hat.....

We all know winter is coming, the cooler nights, the breeze in our babies ears. If you are like me , Iam constantly paranoid about it. Even in the summer, I'm alwas making sure they don't get cold on their ears. ( comes from years of my mother always doing the same.)

Well, now comes a new task, not that I don't have enough, but I want to make a super cute-Stylish ( Sasha's fave word) Hat. I'm working on it, coming close, but still alot of work.

Unisex of course, but little here and there to make em girly or boyish.

Would you like to tell me what you think? Please please..I like them but what about you?

If I get good at blogging, wich is my new task, I want to share with all of you how to make them for a few weeks, get some inputs.

My other project, I love love love baby shoes and booties. I love em so much, I have trouble to sew them!! It just tickels my pickel when I can't get it how I want it to work. But practice makes ya perfect,.....hopefully. So I love upcycling, my husband, brought me into the world of trifty shops and all that great stuff. Wich I luv soo much. TReasure my friends. Here I am rambling...

Well I want to make shoes out of old leather jackets, anything. They already took a beautiful animals life, lets celebrate it and give it alot of lifes!! Let's make shoesS.

Here is my first pair, won't show you today, its embarassing. Organic looking simply, classic. I think it does. Melodie my daughter got a pair, she loves em, but they showed me I have some work to do on them.

My sewing room looks amazing!!! I mean for being in a basement. I just always want to be there and sew. Its great. Specialy after this amazing turn out with the Hats 4 Mary. Wich thank you everyone who has purchased one. Even though my life is bussy with two little ones, having a nice place to go too just makes me want to do more more more. Theres something to be said when you do something to help someone. its amazing makes you want to just do more and to teach your little ones to give and help.

Right now its bussy trying to wrap my mind around all the things I have to make and get ready for. Kris Kringle craft fair is coming too fast. What to bring what to make, you know what I mean. To bring it into it all my Sasha is starting his firt week of preschool. I want to make him a backpack and a sandwich wrapper also trying to crochet him an apple cozy, Not working out so well. Even after like 5 tries. I got him this really cool vintage thermos for school. Love it!!! I love finding old treasures. I still sometimes can't believe I got my mother thrift shop shopping!! amazing. Maybe I should go, dishes dishes..oh did I mention dishes. Actually laundry too. Story of my life....and I love it!!!

Its too hot...

Its hot!! sooo hot. You know when it hot and you sweat from not even moving...
I mean, I know this heat I lived in Ottawa for a few years, its not fun. Some might like it but you know I like my spring days where the sun is hot but doesnt burn you.
I have been downstairs sewing....my oldest boy won't even stay home with me, he is always at grand ma's house, I mean I dont blame him. My daughter sleeps, lucky girl gets the fan and the cool room while mommy is soo hot that even floding laundry is like a task that can never get done. My husband..oh my poor husband...he is in a pizza place , it most be like an oven in there. I think of it and I feel sick. The heat is not my friend. I mean dry climat is different but this humid extrem heat...nooo way.
I did sew my cheeky monkey today though, I am very proud also. I was wanting to add him on here but I can't find any camera cords. I just hate thatwhen I can't find what I want. Grrrr. But not worth getting mad over.
Well I am going to go have a cold bath...

You know when you found thatsomeone that is your other half...they are like your child, you want everything for them. Thats my husband. I want to be selfish and just have him just for me for a day..no distraction nothing. Just me and him.
I am not sure why I am writing this, I guess I just miss him today and writing about him, makes me feel better. I do go without him and I am trully happy and actually more then happy with everything. But missing someone is a good thing, because if I didnt miss him then there would be something wrong in my heart.
He encourages me thinkgs I am gorgeous...sure he picks on things but its out of a good heart..and I have trully able to see that now. No one believes in me more for my dreams of having my own bussiness...Heck Ive spent so much money on it getting going....Thank you!!!

Do you ever feel like were did my creative side go?? It slike its gone?? its inside me but it cant get out...I tell myself its because I have something really great coming..(wishes) (Hopes)
I want to sew so much, I just have all these things and Ideas wanting to come out, but my body nyself cant seem to get them out..I am in a RUT!! Me and a Rut no way..I most come out. What I tell myself. A good kick in the bum is what I need, but the only one who can do that for me is me! and trust me I am.
I think I am going to do the farmers markets..and kinda excited about it!! I just have things and want to make more thinngs and I need to have something to do with all of them. I think my husband is like.ahhh hunny, you always going to be making gifts?? If I had it my way, yes i would. I love making things for people and just giving gifts. GIVIN makes me feellls goood.
Well I will go and finish this little project I am working on..next is a blanket I think, I nice intercarte work..hmmmm lets see..:)

Windy Winter Day....I sewed cute little booties

This is my first entry...Not too sure how this is suppose to go..I guess I just pore my heart out??
hehehe. Well today was a good day. My husband works 6days a week now, So Sunday is our family day. We started off nice and early...Wanna hear some cool, we both dreamed that we got married to eachother again and it was the most beautiful wedding. If anyone know what that means let me know. anywho, got the kids feed, then we went swimming!!! yeah!!! Except my 10month old, Melodie...she gets cold fast, poor thing was shivering. But no less she loved it.
So did Sasha, he gets a little scared but he does GREAT! Visit to grand parents place, then home...oh on the way home my Lovely husband, I do say he is great. He got me a belated birthday present, we couldnt find anywhere!!! I was happy.
Then we came home, food again, then it was nappy time! Wich means mommy and daddy time.
Well my husband, wich his name is Brent by the way, he played his game with his friend and I sew!! I made the cutest booties..hopefully I can figure how this place works and I can show you pictures.
I have to run, my Brent is home and he took the kids out for some movies...
